In now a day, time is very important for people, and therefore, people are always looking for ways to reduce the amount of time to travel between places to places. Hence, choose what kind of transportation that is better than others can help you save the time. For example, if you are doing business internationally, you should be taking plane instead of boats.  Take an airplane is an easy way to travel around the world. The advantages of taking plane are faster than other transportation and on the plane will have flight attendants to serve you. The disadvantage is if you have to sit on a plane too long your body will feel uncomfortable. I noticed that if you pay more, your treatment will be better.

There are many things that I love to do when I was in Taiwan, especially playing basketball. Because when I am playing basketball, I can release my pressure from school, friends, and parents. Playing basketball is also the way that I can have some time with my father due to his job, he usually stays in other cities, but even now I still remember that he had promised me that he would come back every weekend and teach me how to play basketball. Therefore, I like the feeling of staying with my father, and the satisfaction when I shot the ball into the basket.  

Blog Entry 5 - Crime

I think Calgary is a safety city. I don’t have any example for it, but it just makes me feel peace and friendly. I think it is safer than my home town. In my hometown every house or apartments have the iron door and iron gate, because they have some thief will go in to your house from window. If you go to Taipei, you will see every apartment just like jail. In my opinion, don’t show off how rich you are and the thief won’t notice you. If you walk alone in night, you might to bring a bear spray with you.

$ $ Money $ $

If I won $10 million, I would buy a house or an apartment in Canada for my parents, because they’re planning to buy a house or an apartment than my sister and I don’t have to rent a house there. If I just buy an apartment, it won’t cost all 10 million so I can give the left to them for saving or they can plan to go to honeymoons if they want. I think they spent too much money to bring my sister and I up, so when I won 10 million I will spend all the money on them too.

Holidays/Celebrations

Moon festival is my favorite holiday in Taiwan’s celebration.  According to Chinese calendar, Moon festival is on August 15 of every year. At the past Moon festival, we ate moon cake and watch the moon to celebrate, but now we get together enjoy watching the moon, barbecue and eat pomelos (It is a kind of fruit, and it tastes sweet) to celebrate. This is my favorite holiday because I like the feeling of getting together with my friends or family. In that day, we will prepare everything in afternoon and find a good place for light the fire. After all is done, we will start to roast something to eat or play some group game.  

City and Country

In my opinion, Taipei is the best place to live. First, Taipei’s transportations are very convenient. We have MRT (Mass Rapid Transit), buses, and taxi, so they can take you wherever you want to go, it’s fast and can help you save many time. Second, there have many night markets that you can eat many transitional foods, and buy some clothes, it’s really cheap and taste. Third, there have a lot of place to visit, so you won’t be boring if you live in Taipei. For all these reason, Taipei is the best place to live.
